Want to ask if it is legal to get a salary raise after completing 6-month probation when changing jobs within the same company. I recently was promoted to a team lead, but first, I need to complete a 6-month probation period before my salary is updated. Therefore, I have more responsibilities now, but I won’t get a higher salary yet.

- First, if it is in a Berliner startup, it is possible. That’s the problem with startups here. This seems also illegal but I’m not 100% sure in this case. What I wanted to add is, that some companies might agree with employees right now in promotions without salary increase because of pandemic effects on business ONLY if the increase is to be retroactively paid after the economy/market improves, but your company should not deny you an increase. That what I’ve seen in two friend cases (and both have got their increase by this time already). I don’t find it good practice but it seems to be the thing nowadays.
